The Drum Theatre
From it's home in the Theatre Royal Plymouth, The Drum theatre space has a 200 seat capacity and national a reputation for presenting new plays in a high quality programme of innovative works. The Drum often collaborates with other subsidised companies and venues, including the Lyric Hammersmith, the Bush Theatre and Hampstead Theatre.
Plymouth Athenaeum
The Devon & Cornwall Natural History Society and the Plymouth Mechanics Institute amalgamated with the Plymouth Institution in 1899, they later became The Plymouth Athenaeum when they moved to their current building in 1961.
