Plymouth Culture
Programmes
We have created a number of programmes that align with our core purpose.
Creative climate programme
Our environment matters to all of us. We’ve developed a three-year programme to address climate anxiety, decarbone our sector and support creative responses to the climate and ecological emergency.

Music city
We’re working to galvanise the music sector and turn Plymouth into a gigging city, working with key music ambassadors to make this a reality.

Creative networks
Developing and supporting networks is vital to the growth and long term sustainability of our sector. We partner
We partner with different networks to support their specific goals, some of their professional development needs and to broaden opportunities for cross-network collaboration.

We believe that public art plays a critical role in the creation of vibrant and meaningful public spaces, and the development of well connected communities.
Plymouth’s Culture Plan (2020-2030) has an ambitious vision to put culture at the heart of Plymouth’s development.
Public Art

Creative Leadership
A programme created to explore and build a new model of distributed leadership.

Sea for Yourself
Plymouth’s heritage and connection to the ocean is at the heart of an inspiring new cultural and artistic programme through which we are inviting Plymouth residents to reconnect with the sea.
