Plymouth Art Weekender in Mutley
Plymouth Art Weekender is a celebration of Plymouth’s rich and diverse creative community, and this year’s theme—Do it yourself, help each other out—captures the collaborative spirit that flourishes among artists in the city and beyond.
Throughout the weekend, you’ll discover a vibrant mix of visual art, hands-on workshops, and exciting events, bringing creativity to every corner of Plymouth. The Weekender showcases Plymouth’s homegrown talent while welcoming artists from across the UK to share their work. From emerging creatives to established names, the program offers something for everyone, whether you’re an art enthusiast, a creator, or simply curious. Expect to experience art in unexpected spaces — from galleries and pop-ups to outdoor installations and community venues — each contributing to the unique atmosphere of the event.
Whether you’re engaging with art for the first time or a regular at the Weekender, there’s something for everyone to explore and enjoy. We have broken the city down into zones; here's what you can do in the Mutley Plain area.
Let’s celebrate the power of collaboration, creativity, and community together!
