British Art Show 9: On the Fringe
Plymouth is abuzz with British Art Show 9 exhibitions, and the venues are all hosting a range of supporting events, from children’s workshops to artists talks. But the rest of the city is getting involved too! Here are just a few of the many fringe and supporting events you can find in the coming months. There will be more to announce as BAS9 progresses, so why not follow the organisers on their social media accounts for updates.

CAMP are a member-led network for the creative and visual arts community in Devon and Cornwall, including artists, producers, curators and arts writers. Their series of fringe events are themed HOW LONG? and are listed by their running time.

Flock SW are a production company pulled together from people working in contemporary arts across Plymouth. Along with CAMP and Visual Arts South West, they are producing FRONTPAGE/BACKPAGE/CENTREPAGE, a book featuring selected artists from Cornwall and Devon.

GROW is a new artist studios and event space in Plymouth’s cultural quarter. Their studio holders and partners are holding a series of DIY EXPERIMENTS between until 23 Dec, which will be pop-up and last minute, so make sure you keep an eye on their window and social media for details.

UNDERCUT Exhibition

An artist-led fringe exhibition opened at the beginning of the festival. Fourteen studio holders from KARST gallery have converted the space to exhibit a range of sculpture, video, painting, installation, photography and performance.
