Rise and Grind

Two sisters who converted a 1960’s caravan into a mobile coffee shop in 2017, have now taken on the challenge of renovating an old boathouse into an espresso and cocktail bar!

Welcome to Rise and Grind. An espresso, brunch and cocktail bar located on the Barbican Waterfront.

Under the hustle and bustle of the beautiful Barbican Wharf, you can find our independent coffee shop and bar hidden away inside a newly renovated boathouse on the waters edge.

We've designed a contemporary interior to provide the perfect all day hangout for socialising. From your morning coffee or afternoon brunch, through to hand crafted cocktails by night. There is something for everyone.

We aim to focus on quality food and drink, in a great atmosphere, with friendly staff and delicious coffee. All with sustainability and value for money in mind. A unique spot, where e pride ourselves on getting the little things right!
