Plymouth Selfie Wall Project winners revealed
The winners of the first Plymouth Selfie Wall competition have been announced, after aspiring female artists were invited to submit their designs to have their work displayed throughout the city.
The project gives undiscovered female artists a chance to have their work showcased and will also create new backdrops for local and visiting photographers and film makers.
The judging panel met at The Box to select Eleanor Elliott-Rathbone's entry "Made In Plymouth" as the overall winner.
Elliott said: I wanted to think of something that would unite those who are born in Plymouth and those laying roots down here, together I like the pride that 'made in Plymouth' brings, and can see it reaching creative types as well as entrepreneurial types that want to celebrate their successes, but also what the city has given them.
Other successful entries which will be appearing on walls across the city include:
- 'Wall of affirmations' - Beth Paisley
- 'Seagull design' (Mrs Murals) - Eloise Johnson
- 'Smeatons Tower rainbow' - Andrea Brown
- 'Geddon Plymouth' - Serena June
