Leadworks
The Warehouse, is an incredible space previously used to house a historic paint factory. The Warehouse celebrates the richness of grassroots organisations and individuals working in the Stonehouse Peninsula. This area has an immensely rich past and this needs to become visible and tangible, to empower the community and bring people together.
The Warehouse seeks to create an inclusive, accessible, multi-use space, to bring the community together, it is a place to celebrate difference, in a supportive and creative way.
Leadworks' long term ambition for The Warehouse is to provide fixed studio spaces, flexible temporary studios, activity and workshop rooms, cinema space, recording studio, café/bar facilities, breakout living area, hot desking office space and a large performance space for live events.
Leadwork aim as a social enterprise is to become financially self-sustaining, offering flexible and multi-functional studio space at affordable rates, alongside cinema and recording studio space, to empower and encourage arts, performance, creative writing, cinema, history, community action, refugees, green spaces, makers, radio, music, disability, tackling loneliness and improving mental health and wellbeing.
