A session for Plymouth artists and creatives to hear about the opportunities Sea for Yourself will offer.
In December 2024 Plymouth Culture announced it had secured funding with a consortium of partners to develop a creative & digital programme with the Plymouth Sound National Marine Park (PSNMP) to support a range of shared ambitions. The ‘Sea for Yourself’ programme is jointly funded through NHLF Horizon (Digital Park strand) and ACE Place Partnership funds and is a four-year programme designed to reconnect citizens to the sea for mutual benefit and long-term transformation.
Using the power of arts and culture we want to engage audiences with their marine heritage and identity in new ways for sustained change. As a place-based initiative we are looking to establish the partnerships and infrastructure required to deliver lasting, impactful change, enabling the cultural sector, communities and nature to thrive.
One of our core priorities is to ensure the programme achieves a positive and transformational impact for the cultural sector in Plymouth. As such we are hosting this session for Plymouth artists/cultural organisations to provide a programme update and share details on the up and comming opportunities before they are made public.
