MAYFLOWER 400 COMMUNITY SPARKS FUND
A new fund that will give community groups across Plymouth a chance to get on board with Mayflower 400.

What projects can be funded?
We want to make sure everyone in Plymouth has the chance to participate in the commemoration. To help achieve this, we are supporting Plymouth City Council to launch the Mayflower 400 Community Sparks fund. You may be thinking about organising a themed street party, community mural or an inter-generational tea dance and that’s where ‘Mayflower 400 Community Sparks’ comes in.
The fund will support grass-roots community, arts and cultural activity in the city through a series of bursaries of up to £3,000, or £5,000 in exceptional circumstances. Funding is available for projects that can be delivered by November 2020, that inspire and enrich local communities and which align with the Mayflower themes of imagination, humanity, freedom and future.
You can find out more about these themes and the wider vision for the commemoration on the Mayflower 400 website.
