We are committed to unlocking the potential of our high street, to fuel economic, social and cultural recovery and breathe new life into it for future generations.
Collectively we have a responsibility to demonstrate the difference the High Street Heritage Action Zone (HSHAZ) and C-Care programme have made, both to funders and to local citizens. Historic England (HE) has commissioned The Audience Agency (TAA) to evaluate the Cultural Engagement strand of the national programme. TAA have developed a theory of change framework and associated evaluation toolkits which have been shared with local partners.
We are looking to work with an evaluator to create a Plymouth specific evaluation framework for the two programmes. Whilst distinct programmes they are connected given the overall focus on the high street. We need to be able to collect, analyse and present data that demonstrates the impact of culture on the high street, and to make sure the learning from the programmes are disseminated to support future initiatives.
